Britain’s New Ambassador to Israel at BFHU reception at Board of Governors
25th June 2019 BFHU Team

British Friends and guests were delighted to host Britain’s new Ambassador to Israel – Neil Wigan OBE – at his first public engagement in Jerusalem. His Excellency joined us at our King David Hotel cocktail reception marking the Hebrew University’s 82nd Board of Governors gathering. He was delighted to meet students who are currently studying on the International Masters of Public Health programme, generously funded by British donors and significantly, by Pears Foundation. Alongside students, Ambassador Wigan also met Professor Yehuda Neumark, Professor Ronit Calderon – both from the School of Public Health – and Dina Gidron, Israel representative of Pears Foundation.
