Founded in 1959, the BFHU Women’s Group have supported the Hebrew University for over 50 years with projects including specialist film storage for the Steven Spielberg Film Archive, equipment for Aleh, the centre for blind and physically disabled students, doctorate grants at the School of Pharmacy and farm equipment. Currently the group fundraises for grants at the School of Agriculture, assisting the education of students at the cutting edge of research in plant and animal science, food and nutrition.
The Women’s Group has a reputation for organising excellent cultural events throughout the year, all of which sell out in advance.
