Prof. Katz is the Director of Hebrew University’s Quantum Information Science Center at The Racah Institute of Physics.

Prof. Calderon-Margalit is a public health physician and lecturer in the Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Hebrew University.

Prof. Katz and Prof. Calderon-Margalit are advisers of the National Security Council for Monitoring COVID-19.

Who Will You See There?

After studying for his Ph.D. in physics (capturing atoms with lasers and cooling to measure quantum properties), he spent two years in California on quantum electronics for his post-doctorate. In 2007 he returned to Israel and established his laboratory in Jerusalem, which deals with a variety of topics in quantum information. Director, Quantum Information Science Center, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Ronit Calderon-Margalit is a public health physician and lecturer in the Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Hebrew University.
